Que decir de este pedazo de banda???....bueno esta es una recopilacion con temas de ellos que son excelentes pero excelentes en serio...es Jazz Fusion del muy bueno, la banda en la que estaban Jaco Pastorius, Joe Zawinul, Wayne Shorter, entre otros mounstros...descubrio un estilo al que llamaron Jazz Fusion, y la verdad es que es algo fuera de este planeta...este disco no tiene desperdicio...los teclados de Zawinul, los vientos de Shorter, y buenoooo que decir del maestro maestro maestro de maestros Jaco Pastorius en ese ALUCINANTE INCREIBLE Y MAGISTRAL bajo Fender Jazz Bass....algo totalmente increible un disco increible por donde se lo mire, con unos temas que te llevan a otro planeta...una genialidad total, 100% recomendado en su totalidad, pero como ya es costumbre voy a dar un par de temas que recomiendo con mayor enfasis que el resto, lo cual no quiere decir que sean mejor que los otros, solo quiere decir que son los que recomiendo para empezar a descubrir esta GIGANTESCA banda...bueno los temas que recomiendo son "Birdland", "Black Market" y "Teen Town", por favor escuchen lo que es el bajo de Pastorius en este tema, algo de otro planeta...

I was exposed to the music of Weather Report through this CD and developed an instant liking for it, that subsequently led to a series of other purchases like Black market,Mysterious Traveller,Heavy weather etc and I have not been disappointed by any of these.Weather report is probably one of the most innovative Jazz bands that has the rare ability to fuse rock rhythms with Jazz that is so distinctive, that seperates it from other Jazz bands.Weather report's Music may not be considered as True Jazz from a purist's point of view.But it is the resulting music that finally matters, that transcends all categorisation.This CD Contains an assorted collection of some of their best Known works.so, if want to own just one Weather Report CD, then this is the one.Alternatively,you could also consider This is Jazz #40.
