Primer LP, de estudio de la gran banda britanica Pink Floyd, editado el 5 de agosto de 1967. A "The Piper At The Gates Of Dawn", se lo considera junto a "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band" de "The Beatles", como uno de los primeros discos en incursionar en lo que se llama Rock Psicodelico, estos dos discos fueron grabados casi al mismo tiempo, y es considerado uno de los lp mas influyentes de la historia, ya que fue una gran influencia para el marco del rock psicodelico, del momento y el que vendria. Syd Barrett, fue el compositor principal de todos los temas de este lp, pero cada integrante de la banda le dio su "toque" fundamental para que termine siendo el gran disco que fue

The Piper at the Gates of Dawn is Pink Floyd's debut album and the only one made under Syd Barrett's leadership, although he made some contributions to the follow-up, A Saucerful of Secrets. It has been regarded as one of the most influential LPs ever made[citation needed], being a tremendous influence on the psychedelic rock scene of the time, and much of what followed. The album has whimsical lyrics about space, scarecrows, gnomes, bicycles and fairytales, along with psychedelic instrumental passages. The album celebrated its 40th anniversary on the 5 August 2007.
