Hola como les va???...espero que bien, bueno voy a hacer algo....arme una encuesta a la derecha de la pantalla como podran ver...y ahi van a poder votar...al grupo que mas les guste, asi subo todos los lps de ese grupo solo de una vez...apartir de ahora voy a comenzar a manejarme asi para los uploads...espero que voten, asi empiezo a subir YA mismo los discos...un gran saludo desde aca... Excelente banda de rock progresivo formada a finales de los 60 por Robert Fripp (Guitarra) y Michael Giles (Bateria) despues incorporando a Greg Lake (Bajo y Voz) y a Ian McDonald (Teclados)...tuvieron muchisimas formaciones...pero de todas esta fue la que a mi mas me gusto...grabaron los siguientes discos...In The Court Of The Crimson King (1969), In The Wake Of Poseidon (1970), Lizard (1970), Islands (1971), Larks' Tongues In Aspic (1973), Starless And Bible Black (1974), Red (1974), Discipline (1981), Beat (1982), Three Of A Perfect Pair (1984), Thrak (1995), The ConstruKction Of Light (2000), The Power To Believe (2003)

King Crimson are a musical group founded by guitarist Robert Fripp and drummer Michael Giles in 1969. King Crimson's style has typically been categorised as progressive rock, although it incorporates diverse influences ranging from jazz, classical and experimental music to psychedelic, New Wave, heavy metal, gamelan and folk music. King Crimson has garnered little radio or music video airplay, but there is a cult following.[1] Their debut album, In the Court of the Crimson King, is widely regarded as a landmark in progressive rock. Their later excursions into even more unconventional territory have been influential on many contemporary musical artists.[2] In the late-1960s, the band was influential in popularising a previously unexplored mellotron rock style. Throughout the early-1970s, King Crimson's membership fluctuated as the band explored elements of jazz and funk. The band developed an improvisational sound influenced by heavy metal and became a more stable unit in the mid-1970s, before their breakup in 1974. The band re-formed in 1981 for three years, influenced by new wave and gamelan music, before breaking up again for around a decade. Following their 1994 reunion, King Crimson blended aspects of their 1980s and 1970s sound, which has continued into the 21st century. King Crimson's membership has fluctuated considerably throughout its existence, with 17 musicians passing through its ranks as full band members. Fripp, the only constant member of King Crimson, has arranged several disparate line-ups of the band, and he has stated that he does not necessarily consider himself the band's leader. Fripp describes King Crimson as "a way of doing things",[3] and notes that he never originally intended to be seen as the head of the group.[4]

Banda inglesa nacida en el año 1965 formada por Syd Barrett (Guitarra y Voz), Roger Waters (Bajo y Voz), Nick Mason (Bateria), Rick Wright (Teclados y Vox), Bob Klose (Guitarra)...tuvo muchisimas formaciones pero la que se puede denominar clasica...despues de los problemas mentales de Syd Barrett, los cuales le obligaron a dejar Pink Floyd, se incorporo (antes de que se valla Barrett igualmente, y despues al salir se lo reemplazo definitivamente) a David Gilmour quedando asi : David Gilmour (Voz y Guitarra), Roger Waters (Voz Y Bajo), Nick Mason (Bateria), Rick Wright (Teclados Y Voz)...grabaron los siguientes discos...The Piper At The Gates Of Dawn (1967), A Saurceful Of Secrets (1968), Music From The Film More (1969), Ummagumma (1969), Atom Heart Mother (1970), Meddle (1971), Obscured By Clouds (1972), The Dark Side Of The Moon (1973), Wish You Were Here (1975), Animals (1977), The Wall (1979), The Final Cut (1983), A Momentary Lapse Of Reason (1987), The Division Bell (1994).

They are known for philosophical lyrics, sonic experimentation, innovative cover art, and elaborate live shows. One of rock music's most successful acts, the group has sold over 200 million albums worldwide[5] and an estimated 74.5 million albums in the United States alone.[6] Pink Floyd had moderate mainstream success and were one of the most popular bands in the London underground music scene in the late 1960s as a psychedelic band led by Syd Barrett; however, Barrett's erratic behaviour eventually forced his colleagues to replace him with guitarist and singer David Gilmour.
