The Division Bell es el décimo noveno disco de la banda británica Pink Floyd, lanzado en marzo y abril de 1994. Este disco es la última muestra de la música hecha por la banda. Al igual que A Momentary Lapse of Reason y el disco en directo Delicate Sound of Thunder, no cuenta con la presencia de Roger Waters.

Este disco, al igual que el anterior, gozó de excelentes críticas, y los premios que recibió este demuestran su buena acogida del público. Aunque se aleja en algunas piezas de la etapa cumbre de la banda, en otras hay grandes signos y recuerdan su sonido épico: los solos de Wright y las guitarras de Gilmour en algún momento recuerdan álbumes progresivos tales como Meddle y Wish You Were Here. En este disco se escucha de nuevo la voz de Wright, opacada en discos anteriores (la canción "Wearing The Inside Out" fue la única canción que no fue escrita por Gilmour, sino por Moore/Wright). También cabe mencionar que "The Division Bell" emplea sonidos antes usados en otras canciones, como los redoblantes de High Hopes, que son iguales a los que suenan en 'Bring The Boys Back Home' de The Wall y las campanas del comienzo, que son iguales a las de 'Fat Old Sun' de Atom Heart Mother.

The Division Bell is the most recent studio album by Pink Floyd, released in 1994 (March 30 in the United Kingdom and April 5 in the United States), and the second album without Roger Waters. It was recorded at a number of studios, including guitarist/vocalist David Gilmour's houseboat studio called The Astoria. It went to #1 in the UK and debuted at the top of the U.S. Billboard 200 album charts in April of 1994, spending 4 weeks as the top album in the country. By contrast, Pink Floyd's previous album A Momentary Lapse of Reason had peaked at #3. The Division Bell was certified Gold, Platinum and Double Platinum in the U.S. in June of 1994 and Triple Platinum in January of 1999. Its release was accompanied by an extremely successful tour documented in the P•U•L•S•E album released the following year.
